Healthy Eating for All

The University of Oklahoma's Health Hut was on the south oval this Wednesday encouraging students to be healthy and eat fruits.

The main goal of the hut was to bring health awareness to the students on campus.

The Health Hut was handing out free bags of apples and bananas to anyone walking by on campus.

"We try to promote something healthy and different every week," says Nicole Pritchard, Health educator for heath promotion.

Next week, the Health Hut will be promoting bicycle safety. They are going to have someone from the Huston Huffman on campus adjusting people's bicycle seats to a safe and comfortable level.

CAC Chair Elections

Campus activities council student elections for CAC chair were held this week.

The OU student body voted for either Tyler Nunley or Kely Van Eaton.

Campaigning took place on campus the week of March 23-24 and the beginning of the week of March 30-April 1, when the elections were over.

"It's really important for students to be involved and have their voices heard on campus," said business junior Taylor Clarkson.

Tyler Nunley was the elected winner and will be the new CAC chair president for the 2009-2010 school year.
