Tornado Devastates Oak Tree Residents.

A tornado creates horrible damage, devastating residents in Oak Tree last Tuesday, February 10.

Multiple houses were completely demolished, while others surrounding the damaged houses are in perfect condition.

The tornado resulted in debris scattered throughout the neighborhood, trees uprooted and leaving many families with nothing.

"I was in our newly built shelter in our garage and I could hear the tornado go right by our house," said Karen Martin, Oak Tree resident. "It sounded exactly like a train, just minus the 'chugging' sound."

Oak Tree is currently in the process of slowing picking up the pieces with multiple construction teams helping sort through the debris. The rebuilding and reconstruction of damaged homes does not have a set date just yet.
